My design career started in 1960 when I became an apprentice
lithographic artist in the printing industry. From 1965 to 1968
I studied graphic design full-time at the London College of Printing.
Some of the work in this section dates from those student years and
was produced in collaboration with fellow design student, Jim
Northover, who later became my business partner; these are early
examples of the productive Lloyd/Northover creative partnership.
Other work to be found here was produced between 1968 and 1975 when
I worked as a designer at Allied International Designers in London.
